Charlie Clutterbuck

Picture Charlie ClutterbuckCharlie is Associate Lecturer at MMU, working on the Food Entrepreneurship degree. He is also Honorary Fellow of the Centre for Food Policy at City University, London. He has three degrees as an agricultural scientist and a long interest in food matters, having written ‘More than we can Chew’ over 30 years ago. He develops learning materials for all sorts of related matters, like health and safety on farms, learning from the land, and for retailers to grow to ethical standards.

He is NW representative on National Rural & Agricultural Workers Union of Unite. He runs a web site (www.sustainablefood.com) providing a resource with links to up to date reports for educators, students, managers and workers to promote food that is healthier for people & planet. In this the International Year of the Soils he has contributed a web site to increase awareness of soil mesofauna in the life in the soil.
